ROCKROSE ENGAGES CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD, FOX ARCHITECTS FOR 1900 M STREET, NW

Rockrose has awarded leasing responsibilities for1900 M Street NW, an eight-story office building in the Central Business District, to Cushman & Wakefield.

Rockrose Development Corp. purchased the property on October 1, 2012.

C&W’s Michael Katcher, Executive Director; Scott Russi, Senior Director; and Theo Slagle, Associate; are leading the leasing effort and will be working with Craig Deitelzweig, Head of Rockrose’s Office Division.

 

Rockrose has also engaged Fox Architects to upgrade the building’s lobby and common areas. Fox will also be preparing pre-built suite plans for the available space.

Cushman & Wakefield will market 11,912 square feet of office space in the CBD office building. Tenants at the asset include Ain & Bank; Levick Strategic Communications; the Association of Schools of Public Health; and the International Executive Service Corps.

1900 M Street NW comprises a total of 125,000 square feet, with a glass façade and two levels of below grade parking. The building is at the corner of 19th and M Streets NW, in the CBD and the Golden Triangle Business District.

Within just a few blocks of the Farragut North and Farragut West Metro stations, the building offers direct transportation connections to the Washington metropolitan area.
