ROCKROSE INKS 3 LEASES AT 1776 EYE

WASHINGTON, DC—Rockrose Development Corp. has completed three leases at 1776 Eye Street, NW. It has signed two long-term leases with new tenants and expanded space for an existing firm in the building.

Steward Partners Global Advisory will occupy 10,000 square feet on the seventh floor. The Federalist Societywill occupy 12,000 square feet on the third floor. Obsidian Analysis has expanded its space to 19,500 square feet from 16,000.

Rockrose was represented in all three transactions by Will Stern, Eli Barnes and Kate Oelschig of Avison Young. Steward Partners Global Advisory was represented by Demetri Koutrouvelis and Nicole Miller of Savills-Studley. The Federalist Society was represented by Jonathan Harms and Sam Heiber of Cresa. Obsidian Analysis was represented by Bill Zonghetti, Larry Bank and David Hardcastle of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

Rockrose acquired the 10-story, 230,000-square foot office building in 2012 and engaged architecture firm Leo A. Daly to renovate the building – a transformation that, according to Barnes “has been well-received, resulting in a prestigious tenant mix. These transactions represent the demand from top-tier organizations that desire a trophy address with a best-in-class tenant experience.”
