ROCKROSE DEVELOPMENT PARTY

Apr. 3, 2012 - The Commercial Observer

Nearly a hundred tenants, cultural trendsetters and real estate industry leaders gathered for martinis and hors d’oeuvres at the renaming last week of 300 Park Avenue South, the Rockrose Development-owned building that in recent months has made a splash with deals for the Smithsonian, the State Council of the Arts and the Whitney, which by all accounts, triggered interest among arts groups with its lease in 2010. Located at the corner of East 22nd Street and Park Avenue South, the 15-story beaux-arts office building was renamed the Creative Arts Building and, in celebration, guests, including several from building tenant Wilhelmina Models, sipped bubbly. Meanwhile, to commemorate the name and to foster the arts, Rockrose will be sponsoring a gallery installation featuring Latin American art curated by Frederico Sève over the next two weeks.
